Robin Hopkins is an actor, published writer, and podcast host residing in New York City. She began her career as a stand-up comic performing regularly at such venues as Caroline’s, Comic Strip Live, Gotham Comedy Club and Stand-Up New York before transitioning into acting. Her acting credits include Boardwalk Empire, Louie and Hindsight and some really great “big hands acting” on Celebrity Ghost Stories and Monsters Inside Me. An original film that she acted in called Mi America recently aired on HBO.

Robin has written for the NY Times, Mother Mag, Huff Post, and Medium, and she is the author of the award-winning book “If These Ovaries Could Talk: The Things We’ve Learned About Making an LGBTQ Family” about which Amy Schumer said, “I f*cking love this book.” That book is an offshoot of a popular podcast that Robin co-hosted which garnered a million downloads with guests like Rosie O’Donnell, Michelle Buteau, and Judy Gold. Some of her television writing credits include three seasons on VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live, the O Music Awards, VH1’s Divas and MTV’s Teen Mom Reunion Special, and her pilot, Age Against the Machine advanced to the second round of the Sundance Episodic Lab.

In addition to performing and writing for TV, Robin is also an accomplished playwright. Her one-woman show In Search of Tulla Berman debuted to sold-out crowds in San Francisco and enjoyed subsequent runs in Winnipeg, Canada, the Pelican Theatre in New York City, and ended with a month-long run at the Ars Nova Theatre.  ​A workshop of Robin’s play Love, Punky landed her a $5000 grant from MTV for continued work on the project. Love, Punky went on to have a reading at Ars Nova, and a run at the Midtown International Theatre Festival, which garnered rave reviews from Gothamist and NYTheatre.com.   

Robin is currently producing and hosting two podcasts. Well…Adjusting (an editaudio original) is a comedic, self-help, chat show where Robin shares lessons learned from her crappy childhood. Life Hacker called Well…Adjusting one of the top 10 mental health podcasts to get you through 2023. Robin also hosts and produces Dear Headspace (a Headspace original podcast) that pairs Robin with a rotating cast of meditation teachers for intimate and immersive conversations, guiding listeners through ethical conundrums, social dilemmas, and life’s general trials and tribulations. Dear Headspace is a Webby Honoree, an Ambie Award nominee and was named by NY Times one of "6 Podcasts to Help You Take an Actual Break This Summer."
